1. What we collect
CaloDine stores your onboarding answers (goals, body metrics, activity level, diet preferences, favorite and disliked foods, and favorite restaurants) locally on your device to personalize recommendations. This data is not transmitted to CaloDine servers in the current version.
2. Health-related data
Height, weight, and goal information you enter is used only to calculate calorie and macro targets on your device. We do not log it, sell it, or share it with third parties.
3. Location
If you grant optional location access, your approximate location is used only to show a nearby city label. The city lookup is performed by Apple's geocoding service; your location is never sent to CaloDine servers. Location is never required and the app works fully without it.
4. Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive anonymized transaction information from Apple to verify your subscription status. We never see your payment details.
5. Optional AI features
If a future AI backend is enabled, questions you ask are sent to CaloDine's server to generate an answer. We do not send your body metrics with those requests unless you explicitly include them in a question.
6. Analytics
The current version does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not track you across other apps.
7. Data deletion
You can erase all locally stored data at any time from Profile → Reset App Data, or by deleting the app.
8. Children
CaloDine is not directed at children under 13.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected in the app.
